Festival in LA
José Alberto Hermosillo is a writer, film critic, editor & founder of www.FestivalinLA.com. He received his Associate in Arts Degree in Cinema, given by Los Angeles City College in 2000. He directed the Award-winning short "My Brother/Mi hermano." Then, the shorts "El Artista" & "The Strange Death of Menfisto Niño." In Los Angeles, he worked as a journalist for six years for Al Borde Magazine & Kiosko News, both in Spanish. He collaborated as a script consultant in the film "Tattooed Love," premiered at the Egyptian Theater, Hollywood. Mr. Hermosillo covers most of the International Film Festivals in LA, special events at The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Academy Museum & events at the Guilds & Hollywood Studios. Mr. Hermosillo wrote the original screenplay "The Lady's Corsage/El ramo de la novia," a feature film he wants to direct & produce in Los Angeles & Santa Barbara. Today, Mr. Hermosillo participates as a jury member at the Voce Spettacolo Film Festival, Matera, Italia, & the Feratum 2022, Michoacán, México. And the Celebrity Film Awards, Italy.
