Festival in LA
José Alberto Hermosillo is a writer, film critic, editor, and founder of www.FestivalinLA.com. He received his Associate in Arts Degree in Cinema, given by Los Angeles City College in 2000. He directed the award-winning short "My Brother/Mi hermano." He also made the shorts "El Artista" and "The Strange Death of Menfisto Niño." In Los Angeles, he worked as a journalist for six years for Al Borde Magazine and Kiosko News, both publications in Spanish. In 2015. He collaborated as a script consultant in the film "Tattooed Love," which premieres at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood. Mr. Hermosillo is now covering most of the International Film Festivals in Los Angeles, special events at The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Academy Museum, and various cinema events at the Guilds and Hollywood Studios. Mr. Hermosillo wrote the original screenplay "The Lady's Corsage/El ramo de la novia," a feature film he wants to direct and produce in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, California. Today, Mr. Hermosillo has been invited to participate as a jury member at the Voce Spettacolo Film Festival, Matera, Italia, and the Feratum 2022, Michoacán, México.
